Toll Payment
If you pass any toll road, the fee must be paid within 5 days from the day of passing. Tolls can be paid online, Click here to go Toll link
Falling to pay toll will incur an admin fees of NZD20 plus the cost of toll. Mint rentals will charge this amount to the hirer’s card on file. Receipts will be emailed once charged.
Please note: There are three toll roads in New Zealand: the Northern Gateway Toll Road north (Auckland), the Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road (Tauranga) and the Takitimu Drive Toll Road (Tauranga).
Parking, Speeding or Police Fines and other Infringements
If Mint Rentals have received a notice for a speeding, parking, or other traffic infringement relating to the rental period the vehicle was on hire, we will process a statutory declaration stating that the vehicle was on hire and provide name, address, and driver licence details of the hirer. The authority who issues the infringement notice will then forward the infringement notice to the hirer requesting payment. We will charge the hirer a $20 administration fee for the time taken to process the statutory declaration and transfer of liability notice.
We can also send you a secured payment link to pay us the fine amount, if you will pay within 24 hours we will not charge the admin fees. Anytime after 24 hours the admin fees + the fine amount will remain outstanding.
